There are three ways we can work together: – 1:1 sessions, group training or online. Which one suits you?
1:1 personal training
Are you looking for some 1:1 individual attention? Just you and me, working together on your fitness and health to get you to where you want to be?
Perhaps you have an event you long to get in shape for? Or wish to safely reintroduce exercise post-injury? Maybe you’re newly pregnant and want a professional to guide and advise you on how to correctly exercise pre and postpartum? Or do you just want to gain strength and live a fit and healthy lifestyle that you can maintain for life? If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then 1:1 personal training with FlexFit is designed for you.
I am a multi-award-winning, highly qualified, enthusiastic and passionate personal trainer. I specialise in women’s fitness and am a fully certified pre/postpartum coach. I understand how important fitness is – but to make it attainable and moreover, maintainable, it must work alongside your lifestyle. As your personal trainer, I will spend time getting to know you, your goals and your objectives. I will create a bespoke training programme entirely personalised for you. Then we will work together to ensure that your goals are met… and more.

group personal training
Do you thrive in a group environment? Or find that training with others motivates you to push yourself that bit further? I have a separate business called TrueFit that is dedicated to offering group personal training and it might be right up your street! It is an affordable way to access the advice and training of a personal trainer whilst surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals who similarly enjoy an upbeat, exciting atmosphere during their gym session.

ONLINE TRAINING PLAN
FlexFit offers an online training package for individuals who perhaps have some previous training experience and are comfortable using the equipment in their local gym but would like a personal trainer to motivate, advise and lead them towards their goals via a structured training plan.
Every month you will receive a half-hour check-in meeting to discuss how you are doing. If you are local to Macclesfield then these sessions can take place at the gym – alternatively, they can be arranged via Zoom. Your training plan will be accessible via the FlexFit app.

As a personal trainer – I am also your accountability buddy. I regularly check in with you to keep you on track and focused on your fitness goals. I will ensure that you stay motivated and, should your progression begin to plateau, work with you on your fitness plan to get you moving again.
Upon joining, you’ll receive a thorough postural and movement screening to identify any muscle weaknesses or impingement. This will help maximise the effectiveness of your personalised training plan and prevent future injuries.
All my clients can access their personalised fitness plan via the FlexFit App. You can watch instructional videos on how to complete exercises plus log your sets and reps while also tracking your food intake, weight and body measurements. You can also upload and compare progress pictures too!

I’ve been working with Mandy since lockdown. At first online and since April (2021) with one-to-one sessions. I really enjoy my workouts. Mandy is so knowledgeable and I appreciate her planning and consideration for what my body can do and what I need to work on. My strength and flexibility have improved so so much.
Recently I broke my toe and Mandy adapted my programme straight away; refocusing to strengthen my weaker knee and improve my shoulder flexibility while I couldn’t use my right foot. She has made such a positive out of what I at first thought of as a setback. I’m looking forward to what she’s got in store for me next and I know I’m in very safe and expert hands!

When you work out with a personal trainer, you not only learn how to perform exercises properly and prevent injury, you have the benefit of all their knowledge and experience.
My clients find that my blend of support, challenge and motivation helps them to reach levels of fitness they never thought possible. I help them mix things up and get stronger, both in body and mind, than they have ever been when they were exercising alone.
CAN I EAT WHAT I WANT WHEN I TRAIN WITH YOU?
Of course. I just give you the information you need to make informed food choices. And inspire your taste buds with top tips and recipes.
It’s all about balance and awareness. I can help you with both.
I’M NOT SURE I CAN WORK WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER BECAUSE I HAVE AN INJURY.
Don’t worry, we can discuss your injury during our initial consultation and I can tell you what we can do to get your strength and full range of movement back.
I’m an experienced trainer who has helped many clients rehabilitate from knee, back and shoulder pain – and I enjoy getting people back to full fitness and the activities they love.
DO YOU TRAIN MEN AND WOMEN?
Yes, I do train both men and women. I am happy to work with anyone who needs my help and is committed to making fitness work for them. However, I do find I attract a lot of female clients due to my extensive knowledge and experience with women’s fitness.
DO YOU TRAIN EVERYONE THE SAME WAY?
Absolutely not. My tailored programmes are created to suit each client’s goals, abilities and preferences.
One size does not fit all. One person might be new to strength training or I might be working with an experienced athlete. I make sure I find the right way to fit fitness into each person’s life and support them to make sustainable and satisfying progress.
WHERE WOULD WE TRAIN?
I mainly work from Macclesfield Performance. You don’t need to be a member of the gym to train there with FlexFit. But if you would like to join, Macclesfield Performance offers my clients a discount.
I am also available for online personal training. I consult with clients on Zoom and then create tailored programmes for them to use independently to take their fitness to the next level.
AM I LOCKED INTO A CONTRACT WITH YOU FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME?
No. We work on a month-to-month basis. You pay up front and can cancel at any time by giving me two-weeks’ notice before your next direct debit. Just use up your remaining training time that month.
